Sake, Shochu, and Craft Mead! Sake breweries from all over Japan gather at “Sake no Daisenshu

Sake breweries from all over Japan will gather at KIITO Design Creative Center Kobe (Chuo-ku, Kobe) on May 18 and 19 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. The event will be held under the theme of “Kobe Landing Operation.

The event will be hosted by Sake no Daisou, a sake store in Higashinada, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and will invite sake breweries that it does business with.

On the day of the event, more than 30 breweries from all over Japan will gather, and each brewery will bring 3 to 4 kinds of their prized sake, so there will be more than 90 kinds of sake available to drink at the venue.

The event will also feature sake that are rarely seen, such as sake produced in small quantities and old sake. The brewer will pour sake directly into your cup, so you can ask questions and enjoy conversation that you would not normally be able to have. By being able to see the brewer’s face, you are likely to become more attached to your sake.

Sake no Omune

The organizer of the event said, “We have been able to continue our store for 30 years despite many difficulties such as the earthquake and Corona because of our customers, restaurants, and the brewer who continues to give us their love and support. For this event, we have gathered sake that we can introduce with confidence, so we hope you will genuinely and sincerely enjoy the sake. We look forward to seeing you at the event.
