Luminous Kobe 2 Begins Reservations for “Fireworks Viewing Cruise with Lunch Box” in Kobe

Luminous Kobe 2, one of Japan’s largest restaurant cruise ships, will offer a special cruise to view the “Minato Hanabi – 2024-” fireworks display to be held from October 21 at the Port of Kobe. Reservations are now being accepted.

This special plan allows passengers to enjoy a boxed lunch while watching the dynamic fireworks that will be launched at 6:30 p.m. after the ship departs at 5:00 p.m. The fare is 6,980 yen for adults, 5,980 yen for elementary school students, and 4,980 yen for infants (all tax included).

This year’s “Minato Fireworks” will be more powerful than last year, with the addition of bubble art in addition to musical fireworks, improving on the scale and artistry of last year’s event.

The bento box lunches served on the boat will include Japanese and Western-style dishes such as “Kobe pork with ginger sauce,” “teriyaki hamburger steak with chicken and vegetables,” and “saikyo-yaki red fish,” and are generously sized.

The staff member in charge of the event encourages everyone to “enjoy the fireworks to the fullest, whether on a romantic fireworks date on a boat or with a group or family over a meal.
