Enjoy Summer with Handheld Fireworks at Kobe City Suma Rikyu Park

A summer vacation event, “Cool of the Evening at Rikyu” will be held at Kobe City Suma Rikyu Park (Suma-ku, Kobe) from August 23 to 25.

The park is usually open until 17:00. During the event, the park will be open until 9:00 p.m., with stalls offering super ball scooping, frankfurters, and other fair items, and visitors can also bring their own fireworks, which are usually prohibited.

The park also features a dynamic large fountain that shoots high into the sky, a fountain plaza where visitors can enjoy the flow of water, and the “Field Athletic – Children’s Forest Adventure Course,” a series of 28 pieces of playground equipment, making the park popular among families spending their summer vacation.

On the day of the festival, visitors can play with handheld fireworks at the park’s Fountain Square and Poseidon Square. Fireworks and fire buckets are required, and water for firefighting will be available at the venue. Fireworks will be available from around 18:00.
