Enjoy the Hyogo Canal on a cruise.

Fisheries Cooperative Festival” will be held at “AEON MALL Kobe Minami” in Hyogo Ward, Kobe City on September 29. Advance registration is required for some events.

This event will be held in cooperation with the Hyogo Fishery Cooperative Association. This year will be the fourth time it has been held.

On the day of the event, visitors will experience a cruise on the Hyogo Canal on a ship owned by the Hyogo Fishery Cooperative Association. While enjoying the cruise, visitors will be given a lecture by a fisherman on the Hyogo Canal and the ecological environment of the sea. On the day of the cruise, visitors can also try their hand at releasing young fish (advance registration required).

In addition, a pleasure boat cruise around Kobe Port will be held on the day of the event. Visitors can board the boat from the “Canal Promenade” on the 1st floor of AEON and take a commemorative photo at the Kobe Bridge.

From September 24 to October 6, panels introducing the association’s activities and posters about the “Hyogo Canal” created by local elementary school students will also be on display. The person in charge of the event says, “During the boat ride, fishermen will explain about the canal and release young fish, and on the canal promenade, visitors can actually see and touch the living creatures that live in the Hyogo Canal (creature touch pool).
