Kobe’s streets will be dyed in jazz. Enjoy “Ladders of Jazz” in Sannomiya and Kitano

Kobe Jazz Street 2024, a music event, will be held on October 12 and 13 in the Sannomiya, Kitano, and Toa Road neighborhoods in Chuo-ku, Kobe City. Advance tickets are now on sale.

This major Kobe jazz event will feature more than 100 performers and vocalists over the two days, and participants can enjoy a free pass to visit eight paid venues and three free venues for a “ladder jazz” experience.

The day will begin with a parade at Sankita Plaza, followed by jazz performances at venues such as Jazz Live & Restaurant Sone, Club Tsuki Sekai, Chicken George, and Hotel Kitano Plaza Rokkoso. Please see the event map for details on where to purchase advance and day-of-performance tickets.

The performers include legendary jazz players in Japan and special guests from abroad. Details of the performance program at each venue will be announced on the event’s official website in early September.

A pre-event event, “Jazz Night Special,” will also be held on October 11. You can enjoy a delicious dinner with a jazz performance by the players who will appear at Jazz Street. Reservations are now being accepted.
