Oyster Festival” will be held from January 17 to the end of March at “Jigyo Kappou & Sushi Kura Kura” (Tarumi Ward, Kobe City).
The restaurant offers seafood Japanese cuisine, taking advantage of its location right in front of Tarumi Fishing Port. The “Oyster Festival,” which was popular last year, will be held again this year.
A pot full of steamed oysters with shells (1 kg) is offered at half price, 2,189 yen instead of the usual 4,378 yen (all tax included). You can taste them with three kinds of sauce: special ponzu (Japanese citrus juice), yuzu miso (soybean paste), and garlic oil.
Other special menus using oysters will also be offered at special prices for a limited time only, such as the “Oyster Zukushi Zen” for 2,189 yen, which allows you to taste various oyster dishes at the same time, and the “Oyster Zukushi Bento” (*Take-out only) for 1,399 yen (all prices include tax).
A la carte dishes such as “Fried Oysters,” “Oyster Gratin,” and “Oysters and Shirasu Ajijo” are also available. Takeout is also available.
The “Oyster Festival” is scheduled to last until the end of March, but since oysters from Hyogo Prefecture are used, the event may end when all the oysters are sold out.
Reservations are recommended (via web or phone) as the restaurant is expected to be crowded during the “Oyster Festival.
<A word from the reporter:
You can eat plenty of fresh oysters in Kobe♪ Fresh oysters only available at a restaurant that usually handles fresh fish. The oyster dishes prepared by skilled chefs are also attractive.
