Kobe Stokes’ new home arena “KOKERA GAME” brings the city together

The Kobe Stokes, Hyogo Prefecture’s only professional basketball team, will hold a series of games on April 5 and 6 at their new home arena, “GLION ARENA KOBE” (Chuo Ward, Kobe City), which will open on the Kobe Waterfront. Tickets are now on sale.

The games will be held as one of the commemorative events that will be held inside and outside the arena during the opening month from April 4 to May 3, and during these two days, various “celebration events” will be held in various places in the city of Kobe to celebrate the birth of the Stokes’ new home arena.

The “Celebration Fireworks” will be launched offshore of Shinko No. 1 and No. 2 Jetties.

On April 5, Kobe City fireboats will discharge a display of water (from 15:30 to 45 minutes) off the Shinko No. 1 and No. 2 jetties to celebrate the birth of the arena with a “green color water discharge” (the color water discharge is scheduled to last for 5 minutes).

On the following day, April 6, after the Stokes game, “Celebration Fireworks” (7:00 p.m. – 5 minutes) will light up the night sky.

In addition, “STORKS GREEN Lighting” (sunset to 23:30) will be held on April 5 and 6 at various locations in the Kobe Waterfront Area (Kobe Port Tower, Maritime Museum, etc.), and the Kobe City Museum, located on the route from Sannomiya to the arena, will be lit up on Stokes game days (April 5 The “GREEN Light-up” will also be held at the “Kobe City Museum” located on the route from Sannomiya to the arena on Stokes game days (April 5, 6, 20 and 21).

In addition, an opening night party will be held on April 4, the first day of the opening month, with actor Kika Fujiwara and former soccer player Akihiro Nagashima as guest speakers, as well as a guest LIVE by the hip-hop group “Umeda Cypher”, There will also be a guest LIVE by the hip-hop group “Umeda Cypher,” a performance by dancer Kent Mori, and other programs.

Kobe citizens and Kobe lovers are invited to this event free of charge, and applications for participation are being accepted until March 10 via the “TOTTEI KOBE Official Application” (in case of a large number of applicants, applications will be selected by lottery).
