Suma Ward Legal Consultation (August 5)

Free in-person consultations are offered to those who live, commute to school, or work in Kobe City on everyday legal issues such as land and house leases, buying and selling, inheritance, money loans, and neighbor relations. Advance reservations are required, and after a 20-minute consultation with a citizen counselor, the consultation will be moved on to an attorney consultation (25 minutes) if deemed necessary.

▶Attorney consultation is limited to the first 6 slots available on a first-come, first-served basis (not available if the slot is full at the time of citizen consultation).

A1: Yes, for those who live, study, or work in Kobe City.

Q2: Is there a limit to the number of consultations?

A2: Up to three times for the same case (one slot per day)

Q3: What happens if I am late?

A3: Arriving more than 10 minutes late is treated as a cancellation (shortened consultation time).

Q4: Can I designate an attorney to be assigned to my case?

A4: Not possible due to the dispatch system of the Hyogo Bar Association. For ongoing consultation, please contact the bar association (078-341-7061).

Q5: How can I confirm the name of my attorney in advance?

A5: We will inform you after the consultation (contact information will be referred to the bar association).
