Nada-no-mori Terrace, a New Relaxation Space at the South Exit of JR Nada Station
Nada-no-mori Terrace” (Nada-ku, Kobe), which stretches just outside the south exit of JR Nada Station, is being renewed in the spring of 2024 to become a lush green art space with a wooden deck and benches.

Taking advantage of its convenient location in the middle of Museum Road, the museum has been developed as a space where visitors can casually enjoy art. The exhibited works are scheduled to change every 1 to 5 years, and currently 9 works are installed.

The space is ideal for meeting or taking a short break, and is lined with works by young artists associated with Kobe and exhibited in the “Kobe Rokko Meets Art” exhibition.

The rotary is equipped with a parking zone and the width of the roadway is adjusted to prevent uncontrolled parking. This is also effective in controlling vehicle speeds.
One-way traffic improves vehicle flow and shortens pedestrian crossings to ensure pedestrian safety.
Cooling down on benches under the shade of trees♪
Benches made of wood, sunshade roofs, and seasonal plantings have been maintained, and the landscape is illuminated at night to create a scenic effect. Barrier-free access by eliminating steps improves connectivity between the station and the city.
