Kobe e o Come (Come to Kobe)” becomes the official song of Kobe Festival! Kumagai Tatsuro

Tatsuro Kumagai, the main vocalist of the band group “Watanabe Flower,” which is active mainly in Kobe, has been appointed “Cheering Captain” to promote the “50th Kobe Festival” to be held on May 28.

From now until the day of the festival, he will promote the festival through live events and programs on “Kiss FM KOBE,” for which he serves as sound crew member, and is scheduled to appear at the “Kumin Matsuri” (ward festivals) held on May 20 and 27 as a pre-festival for all 9 wards and at the main festival of Kobe Festival.
The song “Come to Kobe” was written with the Kobe Festival and samba in mind.
In addition, to commemorate Mr. Kumagai’s appointment as captain, Watanabe Flower’s song “Kobe e oide” will be adopted as the “50th Kobe Festival Song” in addition to the existing “Kobe Matsuri Ondo” (Kobe Festival Ondo).
