The “Blissful Happiness Ice Cream” is an original summer-only project produced by “Chocolate Buyer Miri,” who appeared in NHK’s program “The World is Full of Things You Want,” and developed in collaboration with various chocolatiers. This year marks its 9th year.
This year’s new product is the result of Miri’s ardent love call to “Mont Loire”. The new product is a milk chocolate ice cream with rich chocolate chips mixed with soft and gentle raw chocolate, topped with leaf chocolate (milk, dark, and mocha), which is synonymous with “Monroir”.

“This is the first collaboration with Monroir. I am really honored. My impression after tasting the ice cream was the same as the fluffy and gentle taste of milk chocolate. Simple and genuine. It’s the kind of chocolate ice cream that would be perfect for serving at a ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant) in Kyoto.
At first, he was puzzled by my request to put a small chocolate leaf on top of the ice cream. But I still wanted to see that visual. I asked him to put it as a topping because it would sink if mixed with the ice cream. That is how the “Mont Loire x Happiness Chocolate” was born. Whether you are a chocolate healer or a chocolate stimulant, let’s enjoy this chocolate ice cream together.
