Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe) will begin offering the “Kobe Town Tour Series,” accommodation plans that allow guests to experience the charms of the city of Kobe, starting June 22.

The first plan in the commemorative series is the “Sakura Masamune History Tour and Sake Tasting” plan, which includes a visit to Sakura Masamune, a 400-year-old sake brewery in Uozaki-go, Higashinada-ku, where you can enjoy delicious meals and sake.

Sakura Masamune” is a sake brewery located in Uozaki-go, one of the five Nada districts, and produces and sells its own sake using Yamadanishiki produced in Hyogo Prefecture and Miyamizu, one of the best waters for sake brewing.
After checking in at the hotel, you will visit the Sakura Masamune Memorial Museum, where you will see a number of valuable exhibits that tell the story of the brewery’s 400-year history.
Drinking Place: Sanpa-ya
After enjoying the tour, you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine and several varieties of Sakura Masamune sake (about 3 gou) at Sakura Banquet, the brewery’s dining room, and after dinner, you can relax at the elegant drinking spot, Sanpa-ya.

For breakfast, the hotel offers a morning buffet at its signature terrace restaurant, “Santa Monica Breeze.
