Awajiya’s “Railroad Only” Stylish Gem with Original Route Map

Awajiya, a bento box lunch shop based in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, will release “Railil to Hippippippadako Meshi” ekiben in collaboration with “Railil,” a social networking service operated by JR West Group, from July 14.

Awajiya has been in business for 120 years this year. Awajiya has been close to the railroads since the Meiji era (1868-1912), and based on the idea that “we must continue to evolve together with the railroads because we are a company that has lived together with the railroads,” we have launched the “Railil” social networking service operated by the JR West Group, which is dedicated to the railroads. We planned this collaboration in consideration of the further promotion of “Railil,” a social networking service operated by the JR West Group, and the evolution of our restaurant.

The “Railil and Hittaridako Meshi” is made of specially designed pottery printed with an original route map “OCTOPUS NETWORK” drawn by Masaki Omori, a designer of JR West’s route maps (Kansai Koki Kaiki Co., Ltd.). If you look closely, you can see the appearance of “something.
