The Garden Place Suzhouen “Summer Fest” Higashinada-ku, Kobe

The Garden Place Suzhouen (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) will hold “Soshuen Summer Festa” on July 15, 21, 28, August 5, 11, 18, and 25. 2-day advance reservations are required.

This popular annual beer garden event is held on the private deck of Suzhou Garden, where a refreshing breeze breezes through the air. This year’s theme is “Fruits,” and in addition to the course menu, there will be “ogna” (fruit beer) from Minami-Shinshu Beer, a craft brewery established in 1996, a choice of two beers from around the world, and a variety of free drinks including fruit cocktails.

The course menu includes three seasonal appetizers, swordfish tuna padella zucchini, charcoal-grilled Ebisu mochi pork and Banshu red chicken, and warabimochi rice cake. Coffee or tea is available after the meal for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
