Calling for attractive designs that make people want to drink Nada’s sake “Sake

The “Nada Sake Gift Box Design Contest” will be held from October 2. Anyone can enter the contest, regardless of age, professional or amateur, until November 23.

This event was first organized by the Higashinada Ward Office in an effort to promote the attractiveness of Higashinada, a sake brewery, to a wider audience. The contest calls for designs for attractive “gift boxes” that will make people want to drink sake or Nada sake.

The Grand Prix winner will actually have a box made with their design, which will be used at the sake brewer’s store, and will also receive a 10,000 yen QUO card and a 10,000 yen set of Nada sake, sweets, and snacks. The “Runner-up” and “Excellence Award” winners will also each receive a luxurious prize (one winner for each prize. (One winner for each prize, and non-liquor items will be sent to minors).

The person in charge said, “The gift box is indispensable for presenting sake. Why don’t you design the part of the box that decorates the front of the box? Anyone can apply, so we are looking forward to receiving many entries, including sake lovers and those who are studying design or photography.
