A cute bakery that opened on May 7, just a short walk west of Hankyu Okamoto Station

We visited “Boulangerie Maison H,” a bakery that just opened on May 7, a short walk west from Hankyu Okamoto Station!

A cute bakery run by a couple. I went there as soon as I heard that many of the breads were sold out in the afternoon. When I visited in the afternoon, the top basket was already empty…

The store is open from 8:00 a.m., so it is great to be able to purchase before going to school or work.

One would think that this store would focus mainly on hard breads, but it also offers a wide variety of prepared breads and sweet breads. Unfortunately, they were already sold out at the time of our interview, so we had to borrow a photo. Looks delicious.

I still felt there was a wide variety, but the owner is making prototypes every day, and a new product is born every three days. They use carefully selected wheat and change the production method according to the bread.

On this day, a new product using matcha green tea and black beans was just released! I tasted it right away. The bread tasted like a cake with a strong matcha flavor like a Japanese sweet and the slight sweetness of white chocolate.

The most popular bread was served without baking. It was moist and chewy! It was crispy when toasted and tasted great without any toppings.

The custard cream used for the cream bread is also homemade. It was my favorite cream with vanilla beans. This is also a popular item.

The campagne is full of ingredients, which is no wonder it is so popular for filling you up. The cream cornet is freshly made and the combination of the crispy pie and fluffy cream is very good.

Baguettes are baked at 11:00 a.m. and breads are baked at 11:30 a.m. and later. In the afternoon, they also bake fresh bread as needed, so you may be able to find some freshly baked bread. On the day of our visit, there was already a reservation tag on the bread. If they have any bread in stock, you can make reservations by phone.

They are currently preparing to start mail-order sales of their bread. They are planning to ship out sets of popular breads and baguettes, as well as assorted sweet breads and other items. A cute bakery run by a lovely couple. It is close to the station, so please take a peek!
