Hakutsuru Sake Brewery in Higashinada-ku, Kobe City, announced that it will hold the “Hakutsuru 2024 Spring Sake Brewery Open House” on May 18.

The event was planned to contribute to the local community and promote sake and the Hakutsuru brand, and is held every spring and fall.

Fukubukuro” 2,000 yen

This year’s tour of the “Honten Sango Factory” will be held in a free tour style, with videos of actual work and explanations of the brewing process placed throughout the factory, and visitors can tour the brewing site at their own pace. The “Fukubukuro”, a popular annual event, will include a variety of the company’s lineup of sake, liqueur, and wine, and will be sold in a limited edition of 400 sets this year (the official online store will sell the “Fukubukuro”).

Also, at the “paid tasting,” visitors will be able to sample “Doroguchi” (freshly squeezed, unpasteurized sake), “Bekkaku” developed by the young project, ZIMA, BLUE MOON, and non-alcoholic sake-tasting beverages, which are not usually sold at the event.

In addition, local farmers from Kobe City will sell fresh vegetables and rice (Kobe rice) directly at the venue, and food stalls and kitchen cars will also be set up. In addition to alcoholic beverages, visitors will be able to enjoy special dishes, desserts, and soft drinks in standing tents dedicated to eating and drinking, as well as on the open lawn.

Also new this year, “Nada Gogo Sake Shop,” a nearby restaurant, will be opened as a satellite venue for one day only. Visitors can experience pairing Hakutsuru sake with food (for a fee).
