Eating Art: The birth of a blue gradation ecorse! Hon Takasagaya is the first company in Japan to produce the “Mysterious Ecorse

On July 1, “Mysterious Ecorse,” a confectionary created through a collaboration between Hon Takasagaya (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) and Seiya Paint, went on sale.

The package is an original design by Seiya Paint, an oil painter active on SNS such as YouTube and TikTok. Also limited to 100 cans, the product includes a ticket-shaped card with Paint Seiya’s original design.

The Ecorse comes in two flavors: “White,” which is based on the image of a clear night sky, and “Sakura,” which is based on the image of a sunset sky at magic hour. The mysterious blue dough is softly baked in a spiral shape, and the inside of each is filled with white chocolate and cherry blossom flavored chocolate.
