Kobe City: Dispatch of Athletes to the Gold Coast Marathon

The following athletes who placed high in the 10th Kobe Marathon will be dispatched to the affiliated marathon, Gold Coast Marathon 2023, to be held in Australia on Sunday, July 2.

I am very happy to have this opportunity because it was difficult for me to go to overseas marathons due to the Corona disaster. I believe that overseas marathons have a different atmosphere and way of enjoying marathons than in Japan, and I want to enjoy them to the fullest.

I am sincerely grateful to be invited to run as an invited runner again, following last year. Last time, I broke away from the group in the middle of the race and was not able to stick with it. This time, in order to enjoy the race, I would like to run tenaciously until the end. As a representative of the Kobe Marathon, I would like to tell everyone how good the Kobe Marathon and the Gold Coast Marathon are. I’m off!
We are accepting applications for the cheering runner slots for the Kobe Marathon 2023 until Tuesday, July 18.
We are also still accepting applications for group and individual volunteers.
