Shioyakita Elementary School
A pro golfer, Taiki Yoshida, will be invited as a lecturer to give a practical course on snag golf and a lecture as a career class to 4th graders at Shioyakita Elementary School in Kobe City.
1. Outline
Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2023
(1) Practical snag golf training session from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
(2) Lecture from 11:45 to 12:20 a.m.
(3) School lunch from 12:20 to 13:00 p.m.
(4) Break time from 13:00 to 13:15 p.m.
Location: Kobe Municipal Shioyakita Elementary School Gymnasium (4-10-1 Shioyakita-cho, Tarumi Ward, Kobe)
Participants: 4th graders of Shioyakita Elementary School, Kobe (60 students)
Content:
(1) Snag Golf Practical Skills Workshop
Snag golf is a simple golf game in which two types of clubs are used to stick a ball on a flag. Participants will be divided into groups to experience the game while the rules are explained.
(2)Lecture:
Mr. Yoshida will give a lecture on his life and the appeal of golf under the theme of “Have a Dream”.
(3)School Lunch
Pro Yoshida will eat school lunch with the children in the classroom.
(4)Recess
It is a free communication time including autograph session.

Ranked 61st in the 2022 Japan Golf Tour Money List.
He is 24 years old and hails from Kobe, Japan. His alma mater, Shioyakita Elementary School, has participated in the JGTO Cup National Tournament of Snag Golf Competition in 2007.

If you wish to cover the event, please be sure to contact Ms. Igawa, the vice principal, by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14.
Please note that some of the participants are children who require special consideration, so please confirm with the person in charge (Mr. Igawa) on the day of the event before photographing or interviewing the children.
Please wear your company’s armband when conducting interviews.
The event will be held as a class, so the general public will not be allowed to attend.
