Mediterranean Sea in Kobe Meriken Park with a view of the Port of Kobe in spring

Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe) will hold “Buono! Cheerful Italian Fair” from April 10 to June 30.

The event will feature a buffet-style authentic Italian menu using seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy the feeling of traveling to Italy while being in Japan.
The menu includes a wide variety of dishes from classic Italian dishes such as Milanese cutlet, aqua pazza, and carbonara to traditional Italian home-style dishes such as cacciatore (stewed chicken and tomato), porchetta (slow-roasted pork belly coated with spices and herbs), and arancini (rice croquettes). The lineup is rich with the chef’s specialties.

You can also taste “Kobe High Curry,” a reintroduction of the traditional taste of the former Oriental Hotel, which regrettably closed its doors due to the damage caused by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It is a one-of-a-kind dish with sweetness derived from onions and a spicy hot taste. ＜A word from the reporter:
