Bando Kobe Science Museum for Youth produces an original planetarium program for infants to early elementary school students every fiscal year.

This program is a participatory program in which visitors watch while answering quizzes related to the constellations. The use of an optical planetarium projector also allows the audience to enjoy a realistic starry sky in the program. What kind of adventures will unfold in space? Parents and children can enjoy this planetarium program together. During the Tanabata (Star Festival) season, a story about Orihime and Hikoboshi will be added to the program, and other seasonal content will be presented.

Before the program starts, the starry sky of the day will be explained in an easy-to-understand manner for younger children.

The Princess of the Stars

Synopsis

Koji, who loves astronomical observation, meets Elena, a princess of a star, who is lost on a space trip.

Koji is asked for help and decides to go to Elena’s home planet on a UFO! Together with his exploration robot, Picon, and with the help of the birthday constellations, Koji and Elena embark on a great adventure through the universe.

The audience can learn about stars and constellations while having fun by answering space-related quizzes with Koji and Elena and overcoming various obstacles like playing a game in this audience-participatory program.

The program lasts about 45 minutes, including tonight’s starry sky commentary and video program.

The program is subject to change in case of group reservations by schools and parks.
