Parents and children can enjoy learning about “science” through daily hands-on activities at the Science Museum for Youth

From March 25 to April 9, “Bando Kobe Science Museum for Youth” (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) will hold the event “Spring Vacation: Try your hand at Science Craft! (registration required on the day of the event. Registration is required on the day of the event.
Five different kinds of handicrafts will be available each day!
With the theme of “a facility where children and adults can easily come into contact with science and feel more familiar with it,” the facility offers various events and hands-on learning experiences. In this event, all visitors can try their hand at “science crafts.
Fun craft experience!
There are five different kinds of crafts to experience each day. The “Okiagarikoboshi,” “Jewel Box of Light,” and “Gigi Gigi Propeller” are made from recycled everyday items and allow visitors to ask themselves questions such as “Why does it move? Why does it float? and “Why does it float?” The “Jewel Box of Light” is a program that allows visitors to learn about the mechanisms of “science” while making crafts.
The sparklingly beautiful “Jewel Box of Light” is sure to be popular with girls!
The first 80 people to arrive each day must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. ＜A word from the reporter:
I was particularly interested in the “Jewel Box of Light”! Looks like it would be fun for adults as well as children, and after being taught how to make one, I suppose I could make one at home!
