The City of Kobe is promoting the development of “Children’s Playground Bases,” which are playgrounds equipped with symbolic playground equipment that children find exciting.
As part of this effort, the Shiawase-no-mura Trim Park has been undergoing redevelopment to make it an attractive space for people of child-rearing age under a three-year plan starting in FY2020.
We are pleased to announce that the final renovation work has been completed and the new playground equipment will be available for use from April 29 (Saturday, national holiday).

Mountain fort (field athletic playground equipment)
Renovation of athletic playground equipment that is also an access route connecting the Trim Park site and the P6 parking lot. Stairways with different levels and net areas will be constructed at the top of the fort and along the route.
FY2021
1) Village of Departure (inclusive playground equipment)
An area that is easy for everyone to use will be developed on soft rubber chip pavement by installing complex playground equipment, benches and edges that are easy for small children and children with disabilities to use.
(2) Village of Hope (Fluffy Dome)
Air-filled dome-shaped playground equipment that children can jump, bounce, and slide on and become fascinated with is installed. This is the second example of such equipment installed in a park in Kobe City.
FY2022
Sailor’s Village (Rope Slider, Barrel Playground Equipment, Step Playground Equipment)
While maintaining the functions of the rope slider and wobbly steps that have been so popular with children in the past, the layout of the playground equipment has been revised to create a plaza that can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere.
The rope slider has been expanded to two units so that children can play side by side!
