Kobe-born patisserie “Antenor” will sell “KABUTO Cake” for three days only from May 3 to 5 to celebrate Children’s Day.

Chocolate sponge is layered with strawberries, strawberry confiture and chocolate cream, and decorated with chocolate and berries in the shape of a kabuto. The bottom layer contains chocolate cookies, giving the cake a delightful texture.

Seasonal decorated cakes during the period include “Strawberry Shortcake Box” with sweet and sour Japanese strawberries sandwiched between soft sponge cake, “Strawberry Tart” to enjoy the sweet and sour taste of strawberries with savory custard tart and cream, and “Strawberry Shortcake Box” with a light biscuit texture and a mild texture. The lineup also includes strawberry sweets such as “Strawberry Charlotte”, a light-textured biscuit filled with mild strawberry mousse and white chocolate mousse.
