The Kobe Biomedical Innovation Center Promotion Organization (President: Tasuku Honjo) publishes “KBIC Press” four times a year to provide interviews with people who are active in Kobe Biomedical Innovation Center and the latest information.
The following is the 19th issue of KBIC Press.
This issue features an opening interview with President Masato Fujisawa of Kobe University, the first university in Japan to open a “Department of Medical Innovation Engineering” in April this year, which offers practical education in the development of medical devices. The magazine also introduces “Bacchus BioInnovation Inc.,” a leader in “bio manufacturing” that creates all kinds of materials from microorganisms, and “Hyogo Children’s Hospital,” which provides cutting-edge treatment for a wide variety of pediatric diseases.
