Kobe City: Kobe-Korea Youth International Exchange Program (Online)

1. Purpose

The City of Kobe has been implementing an international youth exchange program with Incheon Metropolitan City, South Korea, which is a sister city (concluded in April 2010), with the aim of helping young people acquire a broad perspective and a rich international outlook, and deepening mutual understanding.
In FY2023, as in the previous year, we will continue this program in the form of online exchange at Suma Shofu High School as follows. In order to further deepen the exchange this year, we will hold a preliminary exchange in September, and by the time of the main exchange in November, we will explore each other’s culture and other topics discussed there, and make group presentations and exchange opinions.

Kobe City Suma Shofu High School (1-1-5 Nishi-Ochiai, Suma-ku, Kobe City)

4. Participants

30 2nd and 3rd year students of elementary Korean class at Kobe City Suma Shofu High School
30 current students of Incheon Financial High School

5. Program

Opening Ceremony
・Presentations by groups
Presentations by each other on the themes selected in the preliminary exchange in September
・Discussion on the presentations
Exchange of opinions on the group presentations
・Presentations by individuals
Presentations by individuals on their own practical activities
・Closing Ceremony
