Children’s Brass Band Festival” at AEON MALL Kobe Kita

On November 18, “Children’s Brass Band Festival” will be held at AEON Hall on the 3rd floor of AEON MALL Kobe Kita (Kita-ku, Kobe) in the specialty store area. Admission is free.

The program for the day will consist of three parts: a mini-concert by the Kobe Kita Junior Band (elementary school students) based in Kobe City’s Kita Ward and the brass band of Kobe Municipal Kita Kobe Junior High School, a hands-on wind instrument workshop, and a joint concert.

The second part, a wind instrument experience session, is for elementary school students, who can try their hand at playing the trumpet and trombone under the guidance of a professional instructor (*advance registration required; a few places available).

In the third part, a joint concert, in addition to the Kobe Kita Junior Band and the brass band of Kobe Municipal Kita Kobe Junior High School, elementary school students who participated in the wind instrument experience session in the second part can also perform together. The person in charge of the event commented, “We plan to play simple pieces that even first-timers can play together, so please feel free to join us.” The person in charge of the event commented, “We are planning to play simple tunes that even first-timers can play together.
