Comedy duo Fujisaki Market and Smile are coming to Shinkaichi Shotengai

The Shinkaichi Winter Festival 2023 will be held on December 2 and 3 in the Shinkaichi Shopping Arcade (Hyogo Ward, Kobe City) from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The festival will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and there will be music and dance performances, a petting zoo, free rides on mini-slides, food stalls, a fair corner, and many other events at the main Shinkaichi shopping street from 1 to 6 chome and at various venues in the Metro Kobe area.

At the Shinkaichi 1-chome site, you can see “Santa’s Juggling Performance” and at the Shinkaichi 2-chome site, you can see the powerful Awa Odori dance performance by Hikari-ren.

Fureai Mobile Zoo

On the 3rd, “Yoshimoto Comedy Stage” will be held, featuring Smile, Tonpeteizu, and Fujisaki Market.

Bingo Game Tournament

The popular “Bingo Game Tournament,” open to children from kindergarten to junior high school, will be held near the BIGMAN Gate at 12:30 and 15:00 on both days. Cards will be distributed free of charge 30 minutes prior to the start time (limited to the first 150 cards for each session, one card per person).

In addition, “Shinkaichi Saturday Marche” will be held simultaneously on Saturday and Sunday around Shinkaichi Art Plaza. Visitors can enjoy organic vegetables, additive-free salted and dried fish, Banshu weaving, Tanba Tachikui pottery, and limited menus and lunches from Shinkaichi stores.

This is an annual winter festival in Shinkaicho where you can enjoy various events. The bingo game in particular is really popular, and it is recommended to get in line a little early, as long lines are inevitable when the cards are distributed.
