You can be taught by Japan’s only professional jump rope athlete! Kobe Sports Park

On December 10, the ASICS Sports Challenge “Rope Jumping Class” for elementary school students will be held at the Green Arena Kobe in Kobe Sports Park (Suma Ward, Kobe City). Advance reservations are required and can be made online until 12:00 pm on December 8 (first-come, first-served basis).

Mr. Hijiki Ikiyama, the only professional jump rope player in Japan who has taught over 500,000 people at more than 1,000 preschools, kindergartens, and elementary schools, will give a lecture on various techniques in an easy-to-understand manner.

There will be two classes: a beginner class (from 11:00 a.m.) to practice front jump, cross jump, and ayatobi, and a level-up class (from 2:00 p.m.) to practice techniques beyond the double jump, so children can choose according to their level.
