Stimulate Children’s Imagination and Create Original Picture Books at Children’s Book Forest

Children’s Book Forest Kobe” (Chuo-ku, Kobe) will hold a workshop event “Let’s make a picture book” for 1st to 3rd graders! ～The event was held at “Kodomo Hon no Mori Kobe” (Chuo-ku, Kobe City). will be held on February 12 at “Children’s Book Forest Kobe” (Chuo Ward, Kobe). No participation fee is required.

This is an event where you and your child can use your imagination to create characters, animals, and items for a story using drawing paper to complete an original picture book. Advance registration and capacity are required and will be accepted on the website until January 29 (if there are too many applicants, the event will be held by lottery).

At the event, a lecture will be given on how to create a picture book, arranged using “art therapy” techniques. Parents were asked “What does it look like? and stimulate children’s rich imagination.

Let’s create our own stories while enjoying the “parent-child exchange” that brings us into contact with the children’s sensibilities.

Capacity 10 pairs of parents and children (20 people in total)
*Please make sure to register as a group of [2 people]. 1 person or more than 3 people will not be eligible for the program.

・You will receive an email with the reservation receipt and lottery results to the email address you registered when making your reservation
・On or after February 1 (Thursday) If there are vacancies due to cancellations, etc., applications can be made on a first-come, first-served basis at any time. There will be no waiting list.
・As this is an event for children, participation by adults only is not permitted.
・Photographs and videos taken during the event may be used for publicity purposes.
・There will be no reading time in the museum.
・As ink, etc. will be used, please wear clothes that can get dirty. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty because of the use of ink, etc.
