Students of Kobe Shoin Women’s University prepare various events! BB

KOBE Tartan Festa” will be held at BB Plaza Kobe (Nada-ku, Kobe) on March 2. Admission is free.

The event is organized by Kobe Shoin Women’s Gakuin University and will feature a fashion show using Kobe Tartan and Kobe Shoin Tartan, a calligraphy performance by students studying calligraphy at the university, and an introduction and display of tartan items from various regions.

In addition to the above, there will be calligraphy and art workshops, a “Matsukuro” clothing reuse exchange, a corner where students can play with handmade toys, sales of accessories made from discarded vegetable parts, sales of goods featuring the Art Deco period illustrator “Georges Barbier,” whose collection is housed in the university’s library, and an original “calligraphy” exhibition. The event will feature a variety of events for both children and adults, including the sale of goods and original “calligraphy badges”.
