Kobekko Land regularly holds classes where children can try their hand at cooking.
This time, together with Kobe Central Wholesale Market, we will hold a simple “kabayaki donburi
making with hand-rolled sardines. Let’s master fish cooking with your child!
1. Date and Time
Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29, 2024
Morning session: 10:30am to 12:00pm
Afternoon session: 1:30pm to 3:00pm
2. Location
Cooking Classroom on the 2nd floor of Kobekko Land
3. Contents
Learn how to open sardines by hand, and make kabayaki-don (rice bowl with grilled sardines) seasoned with sweet and spicy sauce.
4. Eligibility
Morning class: Children from 5 years old to 2nd grade elementary school and their parents (in pairs)
Afternoon class: Children from 3rd grade elementary school to under 18 years old and their parents (in pairs)
5. Capacity
12 pairs per session
6. Participation fee
Free of charge
7. Application
Advance application is required via the Kobekko Land website. (If there are too many applications, the number will be determined by lottery.
Deadline must be received by Friday, March 15.
