Kobe City has been working to ensure safe places for children in cooperation with schools and communities, etc. In recent years, however, the decline in physical fitness due to children not playing outside has become an issue.
In order to create a safe environment for children to play outside and promote their healthy growth both mentally and physically, we will hold the “Kobe Children’s Place Forum: Creating a Collaborative Place for Children to Play Outside” (3 sessions) to discuss the division of roles and cooperation among schools, government, local communities, NPOs, and others as follows. In addition, an outdoor play experience (play park) will be held at Minato no Mori Park.

No advance registration is required.
Please refrain from taking photographs, recording, and videotaping during the forum.

1) Please wear your company’s armband when conducting interviews.
(2) We ask for your cooperation in not interfering with the progress of the event when filming or recording with cameras, etc. for the press.
(3) If you wish to be photographed or recorded by the media, or if you wish to sit in the press box, please contact the Regional Collaboration Bureau, Regional Revitalization Division (TEL: 078-322-6836) by the morning of March 22 (Friday).

(1) Please wash your hands and disinfect with alcohol. If you have a fever or any other symptoms on the day of the event, or if you are not feeling well, please refrain from attending the event or conducting interviews.
(2) There is no general parking at the venue. Please use public transportation or pay parking in the neighborhood when coming to the venue.

Reference: Outdoor play experience (play park) will be held at the same time.

A play park will be held in conjunction with the 3rd Kobe Children’s Place Forum.
Date & Time: Sunday, March 24, 2024, 13:00-16:30
Location: Minato no Mori Park
Fee: Free of charge (no advance registration required, free to attend)
Program contents: rope play, hammocks, wood crafts, crafts, giant soap bubbles, Molok, etc.
*We will hold the event in light rain. Please bring rain gear (e.g., kappa).
In case of stormy weather, the event will be cancelled. If the event is cancelled on the day of the event, we will notify you on the following website.
