Starting in April, “Kodomo Hon no Mori Kobe” (Children’s Book Forest Kobe) located in Chuo-ku, Kobe City, will be open on weekdays without prior reservations.
Until now, the facility has required advance online reservations for admission on weekends, holidays, long school vacation periods, and during events (each session lasts 90 minutes, with a complete changeover system). On weekdays, admission without a reservation was also possible only when space was available, but from April, advance reservations will no longer be required for weekday use.
In line with this change, the 90-minute time limit will also be eliminated on weekdays, allowing visitors to use the museum freely.
However, as in the past, reservations may be required even on weekdays when events are held or during the Bon Festival, and a 90-minute time slot will be provided in such cases. Please check the calendar on the official website for the dates when reservations are required and when the museum is scheduled for group tours.
The person in charge says, “By abolishing the time limit and reservation system on weekdays only, you will be able to enjoy reading to your heart’s content without worrying about the time. We hope you will feel free to visit us, and we will be happy to become a more familiar place for you.
<A word from the reporter>
Since there will no longer be advance reservations or time slots, it looks like you will be able to spend even more leisurely time there than before! You will be able to use it easily ^^
