Emo, Kobe-style” Cafe & Bar “PORT TERRACE” at Kobe Port Tower

PORT TERRACE” cafe and bar will open on the 3rd and 4th floors of Kobe Port Tower, which will reopen on April 26.

The 3rd floor is a restaurant and café with a relaxed atmosphere, while the 4th floor café and bar is an open-air space with a sense of spaciousness.

The restaurant has a unique layout that offers a beautiful view of the Port of Kobe from every seat, allowing diners to enjoy their meal while gazing at the city of Kobe in a different light at different times of the day.

The interior uses “mid-century design,” a masterpiece of furniture from the era when the Port Tower was created. The space is a fusion of nostalgia and novelty.

The theme of the cuisine offered is “retro Western cuisine,” and the chef of “Kitano Club Sola” has produced a menu of childhood favorites such as hamburgers, fried shrimp, and cutlets.

Enjoy authentic dishes made with local ingredients such as Kobe pork, Tajima beef, Awaji chicken, Tamba leaf, and Rokko champignons at the restaurant on the 3rd floor, while the 4th floor terrace offers a lineup of pancakes, salads, and other dishes that are colorful and look great with the scenery.

Sweets include pudding a la mode and pancakes made with fruits from the prefecture and Kakogawa’s “Japan’s Best Dedicated Eggs.

Tea sets will also be available, and drinks will include fruit teas and fruit cocktails made with seasonal fruits harvested at a farm in Kobe.
