The following organizations from Kobe City have been selected for the 35th “Greenery Protection” Meritorious Service Award by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Award Ceremony

The ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Wakayama Castle Hall (Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture) during the 35th National “Green Protection” Festival.

Purpose of the Award

The award is presented to private organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the protection of flowers and greenery, in recognition of their achievements and as a model for greening promotion activities as part of a national movement.

Hiyodoridai Park (3.4 hectares), the site of the ○ activities, is a large park located in a residential area with natural woods and flowerbeds where visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers, and where they can easily come into contact with nature. On the fourth Saturday of every month, we hold “Play Park” activities, a playground where children can realize what they want to do by themselves as much as possible. The park conducts cleanup and other activities together with everyone from toddlers to adults, contributing to fostering the local community and children’s emotional education.
