Kobe City: Let’s go to the swimming pool during summer vacation! ~Use of Private and Public Pools

Children attending municipal elementary schools are eligible to receive a “Pool Use Ticket” for free use of approximately 40 private and public indoor pools in Kobe City and neighboring cities on specific days during the summer vacation period.
For details on eligible facilities, dates and times, reservation procedures, etc., please refer to the website below.
Leaflets with the tickets will be distributed through schools.

1. Eligibility

Children attending municipal elementary schools, compulsory education schools (first semester) and special-needs schools (elementary school)

2. Period of implementation

July 20, 2024 – September 1, 2024
* Available days vary depending on the facility

4. How to use

(1) Free pool access
・One ticket entitles you to use one slot (one time slot).
Reservations are required (by lottery). Please select the facility you wish to use from the reservation application form on the following website and apply for the lottery.
Please submit your ticket to the facility on the day of use.

*If space is available after the lottery, reservations can be made without a lottery. (up to the day before use)

(2) Swimming Lesson Discount
・Tickets can also be used as discount coupons for swimming lessons and short-term classes during summer vacation at some facilities.
The discount is 500 yen per ticket (however, only one ticket can be used per day).
