This year, all-you-can-eat foie gras & roast beef bowls! Kobe Portopia

Summer Buffet 2024″ will be held at Kobe Portopia Hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe) from August 10 to 14. Reservations are required in advance.

The theme of this year’s event is “Resort Gourmet Island.

This year’s theme is “Resort Gourmet Island,” featuring about 60 kinds of gourmet foods from around the world and hotel specialties that give you a resort-like atmosphere, along with about 30 kinds of drinks, including beer, wine, cocktails, and sake, for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink.

The islands called “resorts” scattered all over the world have many local and traditional cuisines, and some of them are rarely seen in Japan, such as mie goreng and satay, which are dishes of Bali in Indonesia, and lundang, which is said to be the most delicious local dish in the world.

Cooking Corner

The cooking corner will be made to resemble islands, offering a wide variety of dishes, such as a hamo nabe (pike conger pot) using hamo (Japanese pike conger), which is delicious during the summer season, from Awaji Island, an island resort in Hyogo Prefecture.

A hands-on corner for children to enjoy is also available.

In addition, starting this year, a new additional fee for 13- to 19-year-olds will be available as a “chujin (middle-aged person) fee,” making it more reasonably priced.
