Multi-generational fashion show! A day to connect everyone at “ei-to” on Awaji Island

Awajishima Collection 2024, a fashion show and market event that will bring a new world view to Awaji Island, will be held on September 15 at the “ei-to” apparel complex in Ei, Awaji Island.

The event will bring together fashion shows from all generations, including children (Awaji Children’s Fashion School), vocational students (Yasuko Ueda Fashion College and Kobe Fashion College), new fashion designers (taisei ichiyoshi), and skilled dressmakers (ii, Hougetsu). This is an event full of attractions, bringing together all generations of fashion shows.

From one-of-a-kind creations to shows that feel a passionate energy that cannot be experienced in a world where efficiency is prioritized in the distribution process.

The theme of this second event is “Why (Awaji Island)?” (Why Awaji Island?).

Although it is a fashion show, it is said to be enjoyable for men and women of all ages, even if their interest in clothes is not so strong.

The organizer comments, “This is an event that will surprise and impress you with what you can do on Awaji Island, not in the center of a city like Tokyo or Osaka, and will also excite you to find something “one and only” that you can do only on Awaji Island. It is an exciting event where you can find something “one and only” that is possible only on Awaji Island.

One of the dream projects is the “Children’s Fashion Studies” show, in which children show off their original clothes they have made as “little designers. Watching children’s free sensibilities take shape is sure to lead to new inspiration.

This is also a market event where as many as 30 restaurants and stores from around the island and beyond gather, allowing visitors and vendors to enjoy a sense of togetherness. In addition to food from a variety of renowned stores, there is also a full lineup of fashion goods and accessories.
