Kobe: September 21 is “World Alzheimer’s Day

On

September 21, 1994, the 10th International Conference of the International Alzheimer’s Association was held in Edinburgh, Scotland. This day, the first day of the conference, was declared “World Alzheimer’s Day” with the aim of raising awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and bringing help and hope to patients worldwide. The day was declared “World Alzheimer’s Day. As part of its efforts to promote a “dementia-friendly city,” the city is working to raise awareness of World Alzheimer’s Day and promote understanding of dementia as follows.
