From May 15, “Kobekko Play Plaza Seishin-Chuo” will open on the first floor of “Nishi Ward Cultural Center” where the former Kobe City West Library was located.
A new playground for children opens!
Kobe City has developed “Kobekko Asobi Hiroba” with large playground equipment as an indoor playground where pre-elementary school children and their guardians can gather with their parents and children. The city promotes childcare support and mutual exchange. Following Okaba in the northern part of the city and Rokko Island in the eastern part, Kobekko Asobi Hiroba Seishin-Chuo will be opened as the third playground in the city.
You can play on the big playground equipment.
The plaza features a large symbolic tree and wood-grained playground equipment, creating a space where children can enjoy themselves as if they were playing in nature even though they are indoors. There is also a space where visitors can play vigorously on the large playground equipment and a space where they can play safely with their babies.
This is a great place for parents as well!
In the adjacent space, “Youth Station West,” which used to use the lobby of the Nishi Ward Cultural Center for its activities, has also reopened. This one will be in use from May 16. <A word from the reporter>
It is good because it is a fun and safe playground for all kinds of people, from small children to children up to elementary school age! I hope there will be more in various places in the future.
