Kobe City: Winners and Honorable Mentions of the 49th Kobe Citizens’ Art Exhibition

Winning and Honorable Mentions have been selected for the 49th Spring City Art Exhibition.
The 49th Kobe Citizens’ Art Exhibition will be held at Kobe Fashion Mart on Rokko Island until Sunday, March 3. The judges in each category have carefully selected 224 works of art by citizens, and we hope you will come and see them at the exhibition. Admission is free. (The image shows the Mayor of Kobe’s Prize in the Japanese Painting Division.)

Exhibition Outline

February 23 (Friday, holiday) to March 3 (Sunday), 2024
10:00 – 17:45 (Admission until 17:30)
Note: Last day, March 3, until 15:00 (Admission until 14:45)

2. Prizes and Honorable Mentions

Winning works will be exhibited during the exhibition period. No award ceremony or critique session will be held.

The Kobe Fashion Museum, an art museum associated with Kobe located on Rokko Island, is currently holding the “Nitten” Kobe Exhibition until March 24.
Visitors to the Kobe Citizens’ Art Exhibition will receive discount tickets for the Nitten exhibition.

In conjunction with the Nitten Kobe Exhibition, “Rokko Island Art Fair 2024,” a diverse art festival featuring exhibitions and workshops, will be held until March 24.
