A spring tradition! Held in May this year and featuring B-class gourmet food “Daiei Kankyo Group

Rokko Island Welcome Festival 2024, a typical spring event on Rokko Island (Higashinada-ku, Kobe), will be held for two days on May 11 and 12. Admission is free.

This annual event is held in May this year to welcome people who will start their new lives or work on Rokko Island in the spring, and is always crowded with visitors with food and drink booths offering B-class gourmet food and spectacular stage performances.

In the KIDS activity area, which is great for families with children, there will be a fairground corner and fluffy play equipment for children to enjoy, as well as “welcome bank” and “egg painting” workshops where children can draw their own original designs, and a street performance area where they can watch street performances from close up.

A kitchen car will also be on display, offering a variety of gourmet B-menus and other dishes, and will be selling its own menu.

There is also a free playground, Fluffy Dome, at the Kobe Fashion Plaza near the event site, so you can enjoy the event and the other events in turn.
