Kobe City: Rokko Island Projection Mapping Production

Since April 2024, Kobe City has been implementing projection mapping on Rokko Island, utilizing the exterior walls of public facilities.
As a part of the projection mapping project, a lecture on projection mapping production will be held to nurture young creators and other future creators. We will provide an opportunity for young creators to improve their skills while receiving advice from professionals, so if you are interested, please join us.

Outline of the course

In this course, participants will create their own artwork based on the theme decided upon, with advice from professionals (Projection Mapping Association of Japan).
Content: Participants will create their own projection mapping work based on the theme of “Time signal” (the method of expression of the time signal will be determined by the participants).
(The method of expression of the time signal will be created based on participants’ ideas.
・Participant qualifications: Students attending schools in Japan, etc. (individuals or teams (max. 5 people)) with skills and experience in video production.
・Capacity of participants: 10 teams (1-5 people per team), with a maximum of 50 people planned.
・Participation fee: Free
*The course will be held basically online, such as via Zoom, and production will be done in your own work space.
