Almost Crab Shrine” was built by Kanetetsu Delicatessen Foods in April this year. I have been curious about it for a long time, and now that I heard that red seals and omikuji (a written omikuji fortune) are now available, I visited the shrine.

The shrine is about a 15-minute walk from Island Center Station on the Rokko Liner. It is located on the grounds of Kanetetsu’s head office in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, facing the sidewalk.

The shrine was built to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the sales of Kanetetsu’s popular “Almost Crab®” product. The crab sits high in the air! The crab stands 2.5 meters high and 3.2 meters wide, making it an eye-catching sight.

Almost Crab®” was developed so that people could enjoy the flavor of authentic crab at a reasonable price. Since April, many people have visited the shrine as a “sacred place for ‘almost'” crabs.
