Kobe City: “Asutepu Coworking Rokko Island” Opens

The City of Kobe has established “Asutepu Coworking,” a free coworking space for women in two locations in the city (Chuo and Nishi wards) to support a variety of work styles to suit women’s lifestyles, and to help women find work, find new employment and This is the third such space in the city.
The third AsuTempu Coworking Rokko Island will open on the 1st floor of Kobe Fashion Mart, offering Wi-fi, a kids’ space, and free temporary childcare services so that you can leave your children at home and concentrate on your work.
On the first day of the opening, an opening ceremony and opening event will be held.

Facility Overview

1. Opening date Monday, February 3, 2025
2. Location Kobe Fashion Mart 1F, 6-9 Naka, Koyo-cho, Higashinada-ku, Kobe
3. Hours: Monday – Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. *Temporary childcare Monday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 13:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (From April 2025, temporary childcare will also be available on Saturdays)
4. Closed: Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays (December 28 – January 4)
5. Eligible persons Women who live or work in the city (men with children are also welcome)
6. Free of charge
7. Number of seats: 20
8. Facilities Wi-fi, power supply (all seats), private work booths, children’s space, nursing room (*shared within the building), etc.

How to use:

Advance reservations are required after registering as a member on the Astep Coworking reservation site ( https://reserva.be/astep0928).
Reservations start from 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21 (for use from February 3 to 21), and from 9:00 am one month prior to the date of use for use after February 22.
*Members must be 18 years of age or older (excluding high school students) to register. Children of elementary school age and younger may also use the facility when accompanied by a user.
