Tasting Tastes from Around the World Kobe Bay Sheraton “Wine

The “Sheraton Wine Festival” will be held on March 9 at Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers on Rokko Island (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is 2,500 yen in advance and 3,500 yen at the door (including tax and service charge).

This is the first time in five years that this popular event has been held, and visitors can enjoy wine tastings (some with fees) from around the world at the various winemakers’ booths.

In addition to wine tasting, wine can also be purchased. Purchasers of bottles of wine can participate in a raffle for hotel accommodation and meal coupons, and can also bring their own wine to the hotel’s restaurant on the day of the event.

In addition, there will be the annual “Sake Tasting Contest” (free of charge) and the “Sheraton Marche” pro-juice marche corner will sell fresh vegetables and vegetable dishes to go with the wine.

On the main stage, a special live performance by jazz vocalist Mariko Yoshida’s quartet will be held, starting at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., each lasting 30 minutes, which can be enjoyed with wine.
