By train

• The nearest station is Island Center Station on the Rokko Liner.
• Please transfer to the Rokko Liner “Sumiyoshi Station” at “Sumiyoshi Station” of JR Line and take a train bound for Marine Park.
• At Uozaki Station on the Hanshin Line, transfer to the Rokko Liner bound for Uozaki Station and board a train bound for Marine Park.

By bus

From

Hankyu Mikage Station

• If you are coming by bus from Mikage Station on the Hankyu Line, please take the 131 Minato Kanko Bus from Hankyu Mikage Station South. Asia One Center” is the closest bus stop to the Museum of Contemporary Art Kobe.

From Shin-Kobe

• If you are coming by bus from Shin-Kobe Station on the Shinkansen bullet train, take Minato Kanko Bus Route 21. The closest bus stop to the museum is Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel.

How to get there from Island Center Station

The Museum of Contemporary Art Kobe is located in the same building as the Kobe Fashion Museum.

• From the south exit of Island Center Station, you will see the Fashion Museum building on your left, which looks like a disk on top of the building.

• The entrance is on the right side of the main staircase in front of the museum.

• Go through the automatic door twice; after the second automatic door you will enter the lobby of the building.

• After passing through the lobby, the ticket counter of the “Museum of Contemporary Art Kobe” is on the left side.

If you use your own car

Please come toward “Kobe Fashion Plaza” in Rokko Island.

From Osaka (East)

• From “Uozaki Ramp” on Hanshin Expressway Kobe Line, turn left at “Higashi Mikage” intersection on Route 43 and drive about 10 minutes.
• Approximately 2 minutes after exiting the Rokko Island North Ramp on the Hanshin Expressway Wangan Route

From Kobe (West)

• From “Maya Ramp” on Hanshin Expressway Kobe Line, turn right at “Higashi Mokei” intersection on Route 43, about 10 minutes
• From Harbor Highway “Shinko Ramp”, approx. 10 min. to Rokko Island

Notes on using the parking lot

There is no parking lot affiliated with the museum, but the nearest parking lot is the Kobe Fashion Plaza ROKKOiPARK parking lot, located underground from the museum.
(Parking rates are 100 yen for 20 minutes all day, maximum 1000 yen from 8:00 to 23:00, and maximum 500 yen from 23:00 to 8:00 from March 1, 2024.
*Times Kobe Fashion Mart Parking Lot and Times Rokko Island Commercial Facility Ancillary Parking Lot are also available nearby.

• Disabled residents of Kobe City who meet certain requirements are exempted from paying public parking fees ( Public Parking Fee Reduction and Exemption System for the Disabled ).
