Performer Profile
Chie Ishibashi (Violin) *Currently lives in Rokko Island
Chie Ishibashi graduated from Kobe Yamate Girls’ High School with a major in violin, and then from Souai University with a major in violin in the instrumental music department.
She studied at the Vienna State University of Music in the class of Ms. Elisabeth Klopfitsch.
Studied under Machie Oguri and Izumi Hayashi.
Recorded CD with Italian clarinetist Michele Incenzo.
Performed with the Vienna Jesutrio at Kobe Asahi Hall and Nishinomiya Prera Hall. Performed with Prof. Johannes Klopfitsch of the Vienna State University of Music in Miltshulak, Austria. Performed at the Chopin Festival in Gamming, Austria. Performed Mozart’s “Concerto Symphony for Violin and Viola” with the Northwest German Philharmonic Orchestra at Akashi Civic Hall.
In 2011, she started parent-child concerts for children from 0 years old. She also organizes party-style concerts with tea time and lunch. She holds these concerts to provide “healing and refreshing” moments for women of child-rearing age.
Yukiko Okabe (soprano)
After graduating from Kobe Yamate Girls’ High School, she went on to graduate from the Department of Voice at Osaka College of Music.
She was selected for the 2nd and 3rd Japanese Song Contests. She has performed with the late Isamu Iwasaki, former professor of oboe at Kyoto City University of Arts, the British vocalist A. Mayer, the Italian pianist
D. Bonuccelli, clarinetist E. Ganter of Switzerland, and M. Incenzo, former professor at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome and principal clarinetist of the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia’s wind orchestra.
She is a member of Kobe Musicians’ Association, Kansai Song Study Group, Kobe Faure Society, Kobe Nami no Kai, and Soiree Kai.
Currently resides in Rokko Island.
Graduated from Kobe College, Faculty of Music, majoring in piano, after studying music at Nishinomiya High School in Hyogo Prefecture.
She teaches and accompanies the chorus group “Chor Commode” and also teaches younger students.
